One of the Lincoln Days Festival’s most popular events will be held on a new day this year.
The Railsplitter one-mile run and walk, followed by a 5K, will be held on Sunday afternoon. It traditionally has been held on Saturday morning.
The fun run begins at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7; the 5K takes off at 2:15 p.m.
The runs have proven popular with local athletes and others from across the state. Present and past cross country runners from LaRue County High School have consistently supported the event since its beginning.
