Lisa Jo Williams and Sarah Graff, employees of the LaRue County Public Library, have been named recipients of a Library Science Tuition Scholarship.
Williams and Graff each received a $500 scholarship. Both are attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
The State Board for the Certification of Librarians created the Library Science Tuition Scholarship program to encourage continuing education among library administrators and staff. The board distributed $8,500 in scholarship money to 12 Kentucky public library employees for the fall semester.
