LG&E experienced an isolated natural gas outage in LaRue County late Tuesday.
Crews have been out since 4 a.m. Wednesday working to repressurize the lines, according to Liz Pratt, spokesperson for LG&E. The outage is affecting the Buffalo and Magnolia areas.
“Crews are going door-to-door to re-light pilot lights,” she said. “We are starting first with customers who have called (and notified us of the outage).”
Ninety percent of service has been restored as of Thursday.
