LETTER: School district has improved under Sam Sanders

-A A +A

As a former resident of LaRue County and someone who had the privilege of working in the LaRue County School District for 18 years I thought it would be good time to reflect on a few of the accomplishments of the school district since Samuel Sanders was appointed superintendent of the LaRue County School District in 2002. Under his leadership the LaRue County School District has made tremendous gains in student achievement. The district went from 131st in CATS in 2002 to the 2013 rating of 11th out of 173 districts in Unbridled Learning.
