Child support is a team effort
Thank you so much for the recent article acknowledging the hard work done by the Child Support Staff in the LaRue County Attorney’s office in the establishment and collection of child support.
The ladies, whose team work and obvious dedication to see that the children of LaRue County get the support they need, usually receive little acknowledgment for their accomplishment, and are often berated by parties who are delinquent in meeting their support obligation or others who are adversely affected when the Court orders a delinquent party to pay.
I would like to acknowledge, however, two other ladies who work and support them in our office, and who are a vital part of our recent successes, Darla Harrison and Nada Cobb. These ladies have assigned tasks that occupy their time on a daily basis but also are required to answer the phone for the entire office and are the first required contact for persons who have appointments or want to apply for support services.
Again, thank you for the accolades for these for very deserving women.
