Legal Aid Clinics

The Legal Aid Society, 416 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, will hold free legal clinics in July, August and September. Each session will be held at that location unless otherwise stated.
A reservation for each clinic is required. Contact the Legal Aid Society at (502) 584-1254 to make your reservation.

  • Foreclosure Clinic – 11 a.m. July 23; 4 p.m. July 25; 11 a.m. July 30; 4 p.m. Aug. 1; 11 a.m. Aug. 6; 4 p.m. Aug. 8; 11 a.m. Aug. 13; 4 p.m. Aug. 15; 11 a.m. Aug. 20; 4 p.m. Aug. 22; 11 a.m. Aug. 27; 4 p.m. Aug. 29; 11 a.m. Sept. 3; 4 p.m. Sept. 5; 11 a.m. Sept. 10; 4 p.m. Sept. 12; 11 a.m. Sept. 17; 4 p.m. Sept. 19; 11 a.m. Sept. 24; 4 p.m. Sept. 26. Attorneys will be on hand to answer questions about foreclosures and provide advice on alternatives to foreclosure.
  • Seniors: What Can Legal Aid Do For You? – 11:30 a.m. July 23, Loretto Senior Center (St. Francis School, Lebanon); 11 a.m. July 24, Elizabethtown Senior Center, 1119 Johnston Road, E’town. No reservation is necessary.
  • Expungement Clinic – 2 p.m. Aug. 6; 2 p.m. Aug. 20; 2 p.m. Sept. 10; (Louisville Free Public Library, Main Branch, Centennial Room, 301 W. York St.); 2 p.m. Sept. 17 (416 W. Muhammed Ali Blvd., Louisville). An attorney will be on hand to discuss the expungement process and which charges can be expunged. Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their criminal record which shows the disposition of each case.
