Unemployment rates fell in 108 Kentucky counties between June 2011 and June 2012, while 12 county rates increased, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
LaRue County’s rate fell from 7.8 percent in May 2012 to 7.7 percent in June 2012. It decreased from 7.9 percent in June 2011.
Of 7,050 eligible workers in the civilian workforce, 6,507 had jobs according to Kentucky Labor Force estimates.
