Unemployment rates fell in 101 Kentucky counties – including LaRue County - between October 2011 and October 2012, while 17 county rates increased and two stayed the same, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
LaRue County’s October rate was 6.5 percent, compared to 6.7 percent in September and 9 percent a year ago. Of a workforce of 6,913, only 452 were unemployed.
