LaRue Insurance, Inc. in Hodgenville has added The Hartford's AARP Insurance Program to its lineup of insurance offerings.
LaRue Insurance was selected after satisfying a number of eligibility requirements including demonstrating a commitment to community service, meeting a high-level of business and ethics standards and completing a training program designed to highlight the needs of the 50-plus population.
AARP-branded auto insurance has been available 25 years from The Hartford. During that time, the products, which are tailored to the interests of baby boomers, were available only by phone, the Internet and by mail.
“We are thrilled to now be able to offer these benefits with our independent agent partners,” said Kathy Bromage, vice president of The Hartford.
