LaRue County youth attend State 4-H Teen Conference

LaRue County was represented at the State 4-H Teen Conference in June with five delegates attending. Jessica Wells was a returning delegate. Kaity Skaggs, Maria Durham, Kelsey Sallee and Kaylin Perkins attended for their first time.

Over the past two years, Wells has served on the State 4-H Teen Council which helps to plan the Teen Conference. At the closing dance, she was introduced and recognized for her efforts throughout the year. State Teen Council delegates hold weekend meetings four times throughout the year. Delegates are elected to the State Teen Council to represent their District. 

Wells also was selected to serve as a narrator during the Fashion Revue held during the State 4-H Teen Conference.
