The LaRue County Clerk’s annual audit for year ending Dec. 31, 2012, showed “no instances of noncompliance,” according to the Auditor of Public Accounts office.
Excess fees increased by $17,841 from the prior year, resulting in excess fees of $148,015 at the end of the fiscal year. Expenditures increased by $210,253.
For the year, the clerk’s office collected $490,457 in licenses and transfers; $620,286 for usage tax; and $1,138,004 in tangible personal property tax. The office collected $329,032 in delinquent tax.
