LaRue garnered over two times the rushing yardage (412-184) and held possession of the ball almost three times longer (34 minutes to 14), but Elizabethtown came away with a 49-27 high school varsity football victory at Hodgenville Friday.
"I thought we executed our game plan pretty well, which was to keep the ball out of their hands," said LaRue Coach Rodney Armes. "We just made some crucial mistakes--missed a fourth and short, third and goal--which we've got to cut down on."
