Lady Hawks undefeated in 12 games

The Lady Hawks defeated North Hardin 3-0 Friday.

Senior midfielder Abby Modrowski scored twice for the visiting Lady Hawks.

Junior midfielder Rachel Wolf also scored for LaRue County, which had won a school-record eight straight games before consecutive 1-1 ties with Meade County and Grayson County.

Junior keeper Sierra Mullins made two saves to record her fourth shutout in six games and help LaRue County extend its school-record unbeaten streak to 11 games.

The team played Grayson County to a 1-1 tie Tuesday.

Senior attacker Shelbi Brooks scored for the visiting Lady Hawks and Mullins made eight saves.

Senior midfielder Sydney Price and Wolf each had a hat trick as the Lady Hawks ran their unbeaten streak to 12 games with a 10-0 win over Fort Knox Monday.

Brooks and sophomore midfielder Nichole Thomas each scored twice for LaRue while Wolf and Brooks had an assist.

Mullins made four saves for her fifth shutout in seven games.

The Lady Hawks play at Breckinridge County at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
