The Lady Hawks defeated Caverna 47-42 Saturday after Friday’s icy weather caused a game delay.
Junior guard Ivy Brown had a double-double as the visiting Lady Hawks moved one step closer to locking up the No. 1 seed for the 18th District Tournament.
Brown had 22 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Sophomore guard Alexis Brewer chipped in with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Lady Hawks, who won their fifth straight.
Alley Evans added four; Alisha Durbin and Haley Holt added two points each.
UP NEXT: LaRue County plays at Bardstown Bethlehem at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
