Lady Hawks enter District tourney after wins over Washington, Campbellsville

Sophomore wing Ivy Brown had 22 points, four steals and three assists as the visiting Lady Hawks (16-10) held on for their second straight win (48-40) Feb. 14 over Washington County.
Freshman guard Alexis Brewer added seven points and five rebounds, while junior forward Alisha Durbin and senior guard Nancy Howell each scored six points.
Haley Holt added five points; Allison Evans had two.

The Lady Hawks clobbered Campbellsville 67-32 Thursday.
LaRue outscored the Lady Cardinals 16-4 in the first quarter and held them to single digits in the third and fourth quarters.
Brown had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the visiting Lady Hawks (17-10) closed the regular season with a three-game winning streak.
Junior forward Alley Evans added 13 points and seven rebounds, while Brewer chipped in with 12 points and six assists.
Durbin scored 11 points. Holt and Howell added six each.
DISTRICT TOURNEY: Third-seeded LaRue County plays second-seeded Hart County at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 18th District Tournament semifinals at Green County.
