Lady Hawks earn first trip to Region

LaRue County’s Lady Hawks soccer team made school history Wednesday by qualifying for the 5th Region Soccer Tournament.

The Lady Hawks defeated Hart County 2-1 in the opening round of the 18th District semifinal in Marion County.

Junior forward Abby Modrowski scored twice – including the game-winner with 23 minutes left.

Junior defender Peyton Gardner had an assist for second-seeded LaRue County.
