This Labrador/shepherd mix needs a new home. She is about 11 weeks old and is black and white.

Taylor County Animal Shelter has a variety of cats and dogs looking to be a part of someone's family.

The shelter is open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and is located off KY 210, just past Wal-Mart.

Appointments are available after hours.

The shelter houses animals from Taylor, Green, Casey, Russell and LaRue counties.

Adoption fee is $100, which includes a microchip with 30 days of  

insurance, rabies and parvo shots, deworming and a spay or neuter  

voucher.

The owner is responsible for taking their new pet to a vet to be spayed or neutered.
