Hodgenville City Council voted Monday to retain the services of Certified Public Accountant Susan Mouser for another year – if she’ll agree to stay on.
Last summer, councilman Alex LaRue said he would like to change auditors as the 2011-12 audit was five months late. In addition, it is recommended to change auditors “periodically.” He asked to advertise for bids.
City Clerk MaDonna Hornback asked the council to stay with Mouser’s company this year “considering the circumstances.” LaRue was the only “no” vote.
