Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Greensburg.
KSP dispatch received a call from Green County 911 about 10:35 a.m. CST Friday.
A caller advised there was a shooting at a residence on Ky. 218 and there were multiple victims.
Upon arrival, investigators learned four persons had been shot.
Detectives from Post 15 said 40-year-old Barry Moore shot and killed his ex-wife, 43-year-old Pamela Moore. The couple was divorced but still living together, according to KSP.
The shooting occurred at a residence owned by 66-year-old Barbara Wright, located just behind the Moore’s residence. Detectives believe that Barry Moore pursued Pamela Moore to the residence where he shot the victims. Barbara Wright’s granddaughter, 22-year-old Ashley Wright, was at the residence and was also shot. Barry Moore then turned the weapon on himself and took his own life.
An 11-year-old juvenile, the son of Barry and Pamela Moore, was also at the residence but fled the scene and was not injured.
A .22 caliber rifle was also recovered at the scene.
Pamela Moore died at the scene and Barry Moore died later at the Green County Hospital. Barbara and Ashley Wright are listed in critical condition at University Hospital in Louisville.
Detective Nick Davis is investigating.
Autopsies are scheduled for Saturday at the State Medical Examiner's office in Louisville.
