Kori Beth Skaggs, 27, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church. She was a 2002 graduate of Central Hardin High School. She was a kind-hearted person who was always there for anyone who needed a friend.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed Skaggs, Zula Smith and Howard and June Walters; and a very special friend, Stephanie Goodin Miller.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Bobbie Walters Skaggs of Elizabethtown; a half-brother, Paul Mullins of Elizabethtown; a half-sister, Deanna Conley of Lyons, Ga.; two nephews, Brandon Mullins and Sam Phelps; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a special aunt to Drake, Bayley, Bruskie and many others.
The funeral was Sunday at Valley Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial was in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
