JUST ASK: Why don't fire departments offer report to county?

 Why don’t the county fire departments give monthly reports to Fiscal Court like the city fire department gives to City Council?

While both agencies have the same end goal, they are different in their make up and operation. The city fire department is an agency of city government and as such must report to the City the same as any other division of city government.
