Just Ask Update: Cemetery flowers can be disposed of during mowing season, after holidays

 Recent reports of theft of floral arrangements and mementos at Red Hill Cemetery may be exaggerated, said Hodgenville Mayor Terry Cruse. It is possible that the items are being discarded by cemetery staff during mowing season and after the holiday season.

Cruse, who also is president of the Red Hill Cemetery Commission, said when cemetery plots are sold, the family is provided a copy of the rules at the city-owned cemetery.
