Unemployment rates fell in 114 Kentucky counties – including LaRue County – between November 2010 and November 2011, while six county rates increased, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
LaRue County’s rate was 7.4 percent, down from 8.8 percent the previous month; and down from 8.2 percent in November 2010.
Of a 6,951 civilian labor force, 6,434 were employed in LaRue County
