After a weeklong suspension, an employee of the LaRue County Detention Center was arrested last Tuesday.
Tami Burden, 37, was taken into custody July 13 and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening. Burden, of Hodgenville, had been suspended from her job at the jail without pay the week before because of alleged threats she made.
According to police reports, Burden made a threatening statement to a co-worker on July 3: “I was this close to bringing a gun into work and blowing everyone’s brains out.”
