LaRue County is on the edge of an area where forecasters are predicting a few hours of hazardous driving today.

A freezing rain advisory has been issued for the afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service says temperatures will remain below freezing through the early afternoon hours before a warm front pushes north across the area. The first signs of precipitation today could be in the form of a wintry mix with rain, freezing rain and sleet.
