Hodgenville woman hurt in Nelson County wreck

Woman on Yamaha taken to University of Louisville Hospital

A motorcycle accident near Howardstown sent a Hodgenville woman to the University of Louisville Hospital Sunday afternoon with a possible broken leg and arm.

Pamela McClain, 47, lost control of her Yamaha motorcycle and struck a guardrail while traveling eastbound on Ky. 84, according to a Nelson County Sheriff’s Department police report. The impact launched her over the guardrail where personnel from Nelson County EMS and the Rolling Fork Fire Department rescued her. McClain was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.

She was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
