Buffalo resident dies from head wound

Hodgenville City Police are investigating the shooting death of a Buffalo man.

Just before 2 a.m. June 11, dispatch received a call reporting a shot being fired on Maple Avenue.

When Officer Donald Jewell arrived at 344 Maple Ave., he found Nathaniel Richardson, 27, of East Bailey Road, lying in the front yard with a head wound. LaRue County EMS arrived minutes later, but EMTs were unable to find Richardson’s pulse, according to Chief John Cottrill.
