Hodgenville man sentenced to five years

-A A +A

Jason Clay Sanders, 41, Hodgenville, was sentenced in Nelson Circuit Court last week to five years in prison for seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

He was granted probation for a period of five years following set conditions, including having no contact with witnesses.

According to court records, on Jan. 5, Sanders and another person — Patrick Keith, 40, Elizabethtown, who has been indicted but not sentenced — entered First and Last Chance Bar in New Haven, where Keith allegedly hit a man inside the bar. When several patrons followed them outside, Sanders and Keith reportedly shot several rounds from their guns and fled in a truck. Sanders also pointed his gun at the group of people, several witnesses stated.
