Hodgenville man charged with burglary, theft, forgery

A Hodgenville man has been charged with burglary and forgery after allegedly taking checks from two homes.
Wesley S. Stoke, 25, formerly of Louisville, is accused of entering a house on Bardstown Road and taking checks, later using them to gain cash. He is accused also of taking checks from his roommate.
Accord-ing to LaRue Deputy Matt Darst, one of the victims permitted Stokes to stay at his house “because he didn’t have a place to live.”
