On April 15, in the strip mall in Hodgenville, I fell flat face forward at a store.
I had a heartwarming experience from the local folks. I was very upset with myself and stated so. The folks calmed me and brought a blanket for me and something to cushion my head. They called the ambulance and there was even a retired nurse there.
This all brought back memories of Hodgenville of the 1930’s and ’40’s.
I want to thank those folks and I am truly humbled by their kindness which will not soon be forgotten.
