Two LaRue County Herald News employees will be honored by the National Newspaper Association for stories entered in the NNA’s Better Newspaper Contest.
Circulation Manager Ramona Coffey took first in best humorous column for newspapers with circulation of 3,000-4,999.
Her column “At least we know what to get her for Christmas” described an incident with losing her false teeth. The judge’s comment was “This column made me laugh out loud. There’s something about personal stories of problems that works.”
