Elizabethtown's Cory Withers scored three short yardage touchdowns and LaRue County was stopped twice at the one-yard line as the visiting Panthers won 49-27 in Friday night's high school football game.
LaRue County accounted for 515 yards of total offense but three first-half fumbles foiled the Hawks efforts.
LaRue is now 3-5 on the season. The final home game of the regular season is next Friday night against Class 4A district opponent Bullitt East which is 3-4 on the year.
