The LaRue County Hawks fell to Barren County 56-66 Jan. 17.
Hawks Coach Paul Childress called it a “tale of two halves.”
LaRue played “decent defense in the first half and especially finished strong at the end of the second quarter,” he said.
The Trojans were down by seven points (28-21) at intermission but, unfortunately for the Hawks, rallied in the second half. They outscored LaRue 22-12 in the third period.
