Hart County grand jury indicts Upton residents

Man accused of receiving stolen cattle trailer

Two Upton residents were indicted by a Hart County grand jury.

The Hart County News-Herald reported that Anna M. Miller, 29, of Pleasant Hill Road, was indicted for unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors, first offense and complicity; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and complicity; possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity; and public intoxication (controlled substance).

Jose D. Gurrero, 34, of Raider Hollow Road, was indicted for receiving stolen property; and obscuring the identity of a machine over $300. He is accused of knowingly receiving, retaining or disposing of a 24-foot Gooseneck cattle trailer belonging to Jerry Rock and obscuring the serial number of the trailer.

The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and the person is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
