The Hardin & LaRue Diabetes Coaliton is open to anyone with interest in improving the lives of people that are affected by diabetes through promotion of early diagnosis, reduction of complications, prevention, and elimination of diabetes. The group will meet 6 p.m. Aug. 11 at Lincoln Trail District Health Department.
Classes on managing meals will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Aug. 24 at the LaRue County Health Department.
These classes will be conducted by a registered dietitian or nurse depending on topic and availability. Meal plans will be developed. Registration is required.
