A Hodgenville man was charged last week with flagrant non-support, according to LaRue County Deputy Brian Smith.

Jeffrey M. Aubrey, 34, had eluded law enforcement for more than a year. He was found “hiding in a closet” in a residence on Thompson Hill Road, Smith said.

Officers served several Hardin County warrants on Thompson including probation violations.

Aubrey owes $9,205.88 in arrears as of Aug. 31, according to court records.

Officers found several marijuana plants inside the house as well, Smith said. The case continues to be under investigation.

Aubrey was featured in March and September installments of The News-Enterprise’s Hardin County’s Most Wanted.

He was transported Wednesday to Hardin County Detention Center where he is lodged in lieu of a $6,000 cash bond.

He was arraigned in Hardin District Court.
