A slender, well-dressed, coiffed woman has been making the rounds of small Hodgenville businesses, counting on the kindness of strangers to “help her get home.”
Her story keeps changing and she has stayed in the area for at least two weeks, long enough for business owners to start warning others of what they believe to be a scam.
Kathy Stillwell, owner of Country Cuttin’, said the woman entered her style shop in downtown Hodgenville and asked for help.
