Glendale man charged with statutory rape

 A Hardin County grand jury in August indicted a Glendale man facing six counts of statutory rape.

Kevin D. Floyd, 23, is charged with six counts of third-degree rape, two counts of third-degree sodomy and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

In total, he faces 10 Class D felony charges.

Kentucky State Police arrested Floyd in July on allegations he engaged in sexual activity with a girl younger than 16, according to an arrest warrant. Norman Chaffins, KSP Post 4 spokesman, said the incidents were reported by the girl’s stepmother.
