Glen Rice, Family and Friends in concerts

 Glen Rice, Family and Friends Musical Concert will be 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center at John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown.

Rice and the Musical Concert Series Band, which includes Ron Benningfield, Eddie Black, Glenn Williams, Mike Ash, Camille Turner and Lou Bingham, will be joined by several guests.

Todd Bodenheimer, Natalie Berry and others who sing at country music venues in the area will perform.

It’s the seventh season Rice, a former educator, has offered the local concert.

Rice was nominated for Music City Gospel’s Male Artist of the Year and song/video of the year featuring “My Precious Little Girl.”

Tickets are $15 in advance and are available at Bank of Buffalo, Geneva’s Florist, Glenda’s Korner Kurl, The Lincoln Museum, Rock and Rogers Service Center, Remax/Ward Sales Team in Sonora, PAC and Blakey Printing Company in Elizabethtown. Tickets may be ordered from Rice at 270-325-3256 or 270-528-4014.

Tickets are $20 at the door.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

Christmas concert

Rice will perform a Christmas concert “A Lost and Found Christmas” 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Hodgenville Civic Center. 

The event will highlight songs that are everyone’s favorites, both traditional and gospel. 

Other performers include Amber Martin, Pat Portman, Roger Conley, Williams, Turner, Ash, Bingham, Benningfield and Black.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. They are available in the same locations as for the Nov. 9 concert.
