The host Lady Hawks blew a nine-point first-quarter lead as Nelson County's Lady Cardinals rallied to win their sixth straight Feb. 7.
The Lady Cards took advantage of the early lead to win 38-33.
LaRue County, which lost its third straight, led 12-3 after the first quarter but was held to single digits the final three periods.
Sophomore wing Ivy Brown paced the Lady Hawks with 22 points, eight rebounds and three steals. She hit two-of-four 3-point shots. Sophomore center Alley Evans scored five points.
