General Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8. No local races are being contested and state and local officials are predicting a low turnout.
Results will not be available in the Nov. 9 issue of The LaRue County Herald News due to press deadlines.
However, the results will be available at www.laruecountyherald.com as soon as possible and in the print edition the following week.

Kentuckians who will be working outside their county of residence on Election Day are eligible to vote by absentee ballot.
Absentee voting on a voting machine is currently taking place in county clerks’ offices until close of business on Nov. 7.

Polls are open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. and almost all polling locations have changed.
