LaRue County Schools’ GED graduates will hold commencement exercises 6 p.m. June 16 in LaRue County High School’s auditorium.
Sarah Hornback, family services director, said the 23 students who completed general education development requirements this year did so for a variety of reasons.
“Some did it as a family role model; some, to get a job or a better job,” said Hornback. “For others, it was to fulfill a personal goal they have set, or because they want to go to college.”
One student, in particular, had an unusual reason.
