Gaye Elizabeth March Sidebottom Newton, 51, of Vine Grove, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Christian faith, a self-employed painter at Gaye’s Painting and a U.S. Army veteran after several years of service with a ranking of E5.
She was born July 12, 1960 the daughter of the late Benjamin Hamilton March.
She is survived by her three daughters; Jade (Adam) King and Paula Sidebottom both of Cary, North Carolina and Jessica Sidebottom of Hodgenville; her ex-husband and father of her children, Neal Sidebottom of Hodgenville; her mother and stepfather, Charlene Cox March (Fred) Ferrin of Port Lucy, Fla.; two brothers, Ben (Karry Anne) March of Maine and Michael “Mike” (Kellie) March of Raleigh, North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial funeral services for Gaye Elizabeth March Sidebottom Newton will be 2 p.m. Feb. 14 in the Chapel of Rust-Wright Funeral Home, 612 North Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, with Rev. Joe Jolly officiating.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. until time of services Feb. 14 at Rust-Wright Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St. New Haven, is in charge of arrangements.
