Garris attends summer institute at Center for Gifted Studies

LCHS teacher takes part in training

The Center for Gifted Studies recently held its annual Advanced Placement Summer Institute. This summer, 476 teachers from 91 Kentucky school districts, 17 states and three countries participated in the weeklong institute at Western Kentucky University.

Summer Garris of Magnolia, a teacher at LaRue County High School, attended.

Endorsed by the College Board, The Center’s Advanced Placement Institute offered more than 20 workshops for both beginning teachers and experienced Advanced Placement teachers.
