Santa Helper Project roadblock
A roadblock to benefit the Santa Helper Project will be 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Lincoln Parkway/Hardee’s intersection and Shawnee Drive/Lincoln Boulevard intersection. Proceeds will be used to purchase new toys for Christmas for those in need.
Yard sale and fish fry at Lane Lincoln CME

Lane Lincoln CME Church, 200 Tanner Road, Hodgenville, will have a yard sale 8 a.m. Sept. 28. A fish fry will begin at 10:30 a.m. Dinners are $7 which includes fish, sides, dessert and drink; sandwiches are $3.

Senior’s bake sale
The LaRue County Senior Center, 112 N. Walters Ave., Hodgenville, will have a bake sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 4 at the center; and will sell food (bean soup, cornbread, chili, hotdogs, desserts and drinks) Oct. 5 during Lincoln Days.

Chili supper at Walnut Hill
Walnut Hill Baptist Church, Upton, will have a chili supper and hayride Sat. Oct. 5. Proceeds will go to the church. For more information, or to make a donation, call Kenny Carter Jr. at 270-537-3409.

Sunrise Manor Nursing Home will have a bike night fundraiser 5-9 p.m. Sept. 28. Silent auction and concessions available. Donations accepted. Call 358-3103 for more information.
