Tickets available for A Taste of the Heartland

The Community Health Clinic of Hardin & LaRue Counties is holding its annual fundraiser “A Taste of the Heartland.”The charity dinner/art auction begins at 7 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Historic State Theatre in Elizabethtown. The Clinic provides volunteer-based basic healthcare services to low-income, uninsured, chronically ill residents. Tickets are available at http://www.thecommunityhealthclinic.com.

Yard sale benefits LCMS cheerleaders

“Friends United Forever: A History of St. Catherine School” in New Haven (1844-2012) will be available for sale Aug. 19 at the St. Catherine all-class reunion.
