Benefit for Priscilla Grant

Buffalo Fire Department will hold a fish/rabbit fry benefit for Priscilla Grant’s breast cancer treatment at 11 a.m. Dec. 1 at the firehouse. Meal includes cole slaw, baked beans, hushpuppies, dessert, tea or lemonade. Cost is $10. A kid’s hot dog meal is offered for $5. For tickets, call 270-361-1349. 


Chamber of Commerce sponsors Holiday bazaar 

The LaRue County Chamber of Commerce will host a holiday bazaar 2-7 p.m. Dec. 1 in the Lincoln Museum Community Room. If you would like to set up a booth, contact the Chamber at 358-3411. Cost is $25 per table. 


Hosparus Shoppe hosts holiday bazaar

The Hosparus Thrift Shoppe, located in Elizabethtown’s Helmwood Plaza, will host a holiday bazaar 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 30 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 1. The Shoppe offers savings on gently used holiday trees and ornaments. For information, call the shop at 769-0569. The Shoppe accepts donations of gently used clothing and home items. Proceeds benefit Hosparus patients and their families.


Holiday luncheon with The Lincoln Museum

The Lincoln Museum will host a holiday luncheon noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Museum’s Community Room on Lincoln Square. Tickets are $10 and include a tour of the seasonally-decorated museum. Participants may have lunch or the tour first. The event precedes the Glen Rice and Friends Christmas Concert at the Hodgenville Civic Center. 

The cost of a combined, advanced ticket for the lunch, tour and concert is $20. For more information, call 358-3163.
