 Relay for Life

LaRue County’s Relay for Life will begin 6 p.m. May 16 at Hodgenville Elementary School.

 

PROJECT GRADUATION: Poker Run

The American Legion is sponsoring a poker run May 17 to benefit LaRue County High School Project Graduation. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

 

Concessions at car cruise-in

Hodgenville Christian Church CWF will serve food in the church annex beginning at 4 p.m. May 17 during the Goodtime Cruisers Car Show. Pulled pork, hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage dogs, desserts and drinks available ($5 and $4 dinners, dine-in or carry-out). All proceeds benefit the church’s building fund.

 

Bunco tournament

There will be an attempt to make a world record for the largest bunco tournament to raise money for charity. Cost is $10 to play. There will be a silent auction, T-shirts, wristbands and concessions. Sign-ups begin at 11 a.m. May 18 at the Long Branch in New Haven. Play will be in the middle of the street in downtown New Haven beginning at 1 p.m.

 

Lane Lincoln CME luncheon

Lane Lincoln CME Church will have a fundraising luncheon 11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 22. Pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, cole slaw, brownie, pickle and water for $7, dine in, carry-out or delivery. For more information or to place an order, call 270-766-8815.

 

Cruise-In for Christ

Parkway Baptist Church will hold a car show May 31 at 325 Old Sonora Road. Registration begins at noon with judging at 2 p.m. Free admission; $15 to show for trophies. Music, silent auction and concessions available. Proceeds will benefit a mission trip to Belize. For more information, call 270-766-2721.

 

Never Forgotten Run

Rolling Thunder Inc. Kentucky Chapter Four Never Forgotten Run will be held June 14. It starts and ends at Colvin Community Center, 230 Freedom Way, Radcliff. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and ride leaves at 10 a.m. along scenic backroads. $10 per hand per player, $5 second hand, $5 extra card to draw at last stop. Lunch is a $5 donation: hamburger, hotdog, chips and drink. Final stop will have an auction and 50/50 drawing.
