RELAY FOR LIFE: Bake sale
The Circle of Friends team will have a bake sale beginning at 9 a.m. March 20 at IGA.
Amish dinner benefits twins’ family
D&D Grocery will host an Amish dinner 6 p.m. March 22 at Pritchard Community Center. Proceeds will benefit an Amish family who had twin boys with a three-month hospital stay. For more information, call 270-737-2300 or 528-1333.
Bluegrass Festival in Upton
The Great Bluegrass Festival will be held March 23 at Upton Community Center in Upton. At least three bands will perform from 5 to 10 p.m. or later. Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for 11-17; and no charge for children 10-and-under. There will be food and sacks available to purchase. The event is sponsored by Upton Masonic Lodge #749, with the proceeds going to a scholarship fund for area students. Single Mom Oil Change benefit
Harvestland Community Church is sponsoring a pork barbecue dinner and auction March 23 at Ovesen Heights Baptist Church Family Life Center. Proceeds benefit the Single Mom Oil Change project. RELAY FOR LIFE: Luncheon and baked goods auction
Hodgenville United Methodist Church will hold a luncheon and baked goods auction at noon March 24 in the fellowship hall as a fundraiser for Relay for Life. Donations accepted for lunch which includes soup and sandwiches followed by a sampler taste of the items being auctioned. Desserts will include Italian cream, red velvet and German chocolate cakes. MS WALK: Red Hat bake sale
The Red Hat Society will hold a bake sale 1-4 p.m. March 29 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home. Call Sally Rineker at 358-3103 to donate or purchase baked goods. All proceeds go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
