Scrap Metal Fund Raiser

Informal Formal Dress Sale

The Taylor County High School Project Graduation committee is sponsoring a formal dress sale in the Taylor County Middle School gym, 1207 East Broadway St., Campbellsville. Those wanting to sell prom, class night or pageant dresses and shoes, purses and other accessories should price their items and drop them off at the gym from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 or from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8. The items will be displayed for sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9. There is a non-refundable $5 charge per dress and $2 charge per accessory.

Big Brothers Big Sisters benefit

Tom Mabe will bring the “Clean Southern Comedy Show” to the Historic State Theater in Elizabethtown 8 p.m. Feb. 7. Tickets are $25. Big Brothers Big Sisters will receive a portion of each ticket sold. Call 270-234-8258 to purchase tickets.


LCHS Softball Boosters chili supper

Rolling Thunder chili cook-off

Rolling Thunder Inc., Kentucky Chapter Four, is sponsoring a chili cook-off at noon Feb. 8 at Colvin Community Center, 230 Freedoms Way, Radcliff. Participating fire departments from Fort Knox, Radcliff and Elizabethtown will compete for bragging rights on the best chili. For a donation of $5, attendees can purchase a chili, hot dog, chips and drink. A silent auction and 50/50 prize drawing will also be held. Donations will help Rolling Thunder Inc. SpringHaven concert

Empty Bowls

Warm Blessings “Empty Bowls” soup dinner and fundraiser will be 4-7 p.m. March 8. The soup kitchen is located at 609 E. Dixie Ave. with parking across the street at Caldwell Banker.
